How can I even count the ways Raul has made my life so much easier here... I think I would have moved back without his help!
FINDING STUFF. I have some health challenges & allergies that require specific nutrition. I wasn't sure how I'd find some specific foods like coconut yogurt, amaranth flour, or free-range organic eggs harvested locally... or even the natural health stuff I normally buy, like essential oils or homeopathic tinctures. My Spanish is mediocre at best, and these items aren't super common. Raul knows local tiendas that I'd be way too intimidated to enter, and to date, has found virtually every weird thing I've asked for!
SAVED MONEY! Too many examples to count. I was about to spend $3300 MXN (Roughly $165 USD) on a purchase, having checked locally (in English) & online. Except Raul found me the exact same item locally for less than half... he probably got the not-a-gringa discount.
SPANISH NINJA. I ordered furniture - it never got delivered. I had a problem with my internet that required physical repair. Maintenance issues in my apartment. All of these times... I needed someone to stand up for me in Spanish! That sofa came next-day after Raul stepped in. The internet problem was fixed same-day after fighting with {my horrible internet provider} for 10 days.
Bottom line, this guy is magic and if you need someone who's friendly, knows every corner of PV, & will have your back, it's Raul. Ps- he has ruined me of restaurant ceviche forever. Just try his class. You'll never order it from a menu again.

This is our 5th winter here in PV and 4 years ago we discovered Raul, who assisted us in so many ways. It has taken us many years to finally feel totally comfortable with decisions. Meeting Raul has helped us enormously.
We had a terrible property manager for our 6 month lease this year. We heard thru several other Canadian and American snowbirds that he didn't like to return damage deposits. Enter Raul. He attended my final walk thru and made sure I received my full damage deposit!
This year I sent off a list of items I needed upon arriving and we had FRESH vegetables fruit and all the necessary Costco items. He even went to my favourite fish market for my red snapper and camaron.
The bonus this year was he showed me how to make my own ceviche. We have been coming to Mexico since 1992 and Raul makes the best ceviche ever.
One last thing. Raul has been so helpful in guiding us thru neighbourhoods. It can be confusing. He also has the best recommendations for day tours. Because Raul has never let us down - we highly recommend him to all snowbirds.
